"Father can you hear me?

I have no place to go
I'm sick and tired and hungry
without you I have no hope
Father can you hear me?
My daddy's gone away
Father can you help me?
I stand beside my mother's grave"
Listen to the sounds of the children
listen to their cries, can you hear them?
They are lonely, cold, and thirsty
Have you fed them, clothed them, loved them?
Can you hear the sounds of the children?
They're motherless, they're fatherless
They have no hope, they're shown no love
The innocent, the babies cries
O Church wake up! Where is Jesus' Light?
The unborn child whose dreams have died
The boy who runs the streets at night
True ideas of love have fallen apart
They stretch out their hands feeling only the dark
listen to their cries, can you hear them?
What if we opened up our eyes, to see through Jesus' eyes?
And feed the hungry souls of OUR children
"Father can you hear me?"
He hears them everyday...
